EMDRIA Consultant in Training

EMDRIA Consultant in Training

Nicole Brucculeri, MA, RP, CCC, EMDR Certified Therapist, EMDR Consultant in Training (CIT)

Nicole is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC), a Certified EMDR Therapist, and an EMDR Consultant in Training (CIT). She has experience supporting individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma (C-PTSD), attachment wounds, dissociation, addictions, and emotion regulation difficulties. Her clinical work is grounded in EMDR therapy, viewed through an attachment-based lens and informed by parts work.

Nicole approaches consultation with a strong emphasis on comprehensive case conceptualization. She believes that meaningful treatment begins with developing a deep understanding of the client’s developmental experiences, attachment relationships, adaptive responses, and the root factors contributing to their current presentation. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or interventions, she enjoys helping clinicians make meaningful linkages that bring greater clarity to complex cases and guide individualized treatment planning.

Nicole views consultation as an opportunity to foster both clinical growth and curiosity. She is passionate about helping therapists deepen their understanding of attachment, the therapeutic relationship, and the role that both client and therapist bring into the treatment process. She encourages consultees to slow down, explore the function of defenses and symptoms, and develop confidence in their clinical decision-making through thoughtful formulation rather than relying on protocols alone. Her hope is that therapists leave consultation with not only greater confidence in their treatment planning, but also a richer understanding of the people they serve.
